In this specific position support to develop and administer business development plans and processes to generate new/ additional business maximize profit and grow market share in line with business strategy financial objectives Group guidelines and policies.

In this Business Development Manager position:

  • You will support administration of business development plans and processes to achieve targeted customer growth and retention rate revenue targets and budgets.
  • You will develop new business and maximize exposure for DPDHL amongst targeted prospects.
  • You will have to use information and insights from market studies and feasibility studies to assess market potential.
  • You will have to identify new business development opportunities and initiate contact with prospects.
  • You will have to identify prospective customer needs and match these with DHLs services.
  • You will have to pursue leads conduct preproposal visitations prepare proposals and discuss terms of sale to close.
  • You will develop relationships with prospects and potential key accounts.
  • You will have to initiate new business relationships with nonbuying accounts that have been targeted by the company.
  • You will have to coordinate for meeting customer requests and sell services that are being promoted.
  • You will have to coordinate sales efforts with inside sales and provide flow of data on account competitors and suppliers to product management.
  • You will have to identify problems that may not be clear in your own area of authority and modify work methods accordingly without the benefit of defined procedures.
  • You will have to explain facts practices policies etc. to both internal and external parties adhering to narrowly defined procedures standards and guidelines.

Now heres what we need from you:

  • 2 years of experience within the same field.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent communicator in English both written and oral.
