Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Bar Lounge Manager for a Japanese restaurant in Dubai. Experience in the Japanese cuisine industry is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate should have 34 years of proven experience in managing highend restaurants.
Responsibilites
- Oversee the operations of the bar lounge ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage inventory including ordering and stock control to meet customer demand and maintain profitability.
- Develop and maintain cocktail menus ensuring creativity and innovation while aligning with the restaurants concept.
- Train and supervise staff ensuring exceptional service standards and adherence to company policies.
- Foster a positive working environment encouraging teamwork and professional growth among team members.
- Handle customer inquiries feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar lounge area complying with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing strategies and promotional events to drive business growth.
- Monitor financial performance analyze sales data and implement strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bar Lounge Manager in a highend restaurant environment.
- Experience working in a Japanese restaurant is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Solid understanding of beverage trends mixology and cocktail preparation.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control principles.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in hospitality management or related field is preferred
