You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUpgrade Planning: Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to develop upgrade strategies and roadmaps for Avaya communication systems.
System Assessment: Assess the current Avaya infrastructure, identifying areas that require upgrades, enhancements, or optimizations.
Upgrade Execution: Plan and execute Avaya software and hardware upgrades, including but not limited to Avaya Aura Communication Manager, Session Manager, and related components.
Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of upgraded Avaya systems, ensuring functionality, compatibility, and performance meet established standards.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of upgrade processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
User Training: Provide training to end-users and support teams on new features and functionalities introduced through upgrades.
Security and Compliance: Implement security measures and ensure Avaya systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Familiarity with VoIP and SIP technologies, call routing, and telephony concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex Avaya system issues.
Relevant Avaya certifications, such as Avaya Certified Implementation Specialist (ACIS) or Avaya Certified Solutions Specialist (ACSS), are a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and their impact on Avaya systems is beneficial.
Familiarity with Avayas Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions and integration with other technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Cisco) is a plus.
