Roles and Responsibilities:

1>As a Project Manager, your role typically involves managing a set of programming teams and Vendor teams. This usually involves managing Front end/Backend/QA/DevOps teams.

2>Responsible for the commitments of your team in

terms of time, effort and quality of work.

3>Responsible for the performance evaluation of your team leads/team members.

4>You would likely be a part of a larger offshore team and are expected to work collaboratively with your peers onsite and offshore to deliver

milestone/sprint-based deliverables.

Typical activities that would be expected are:

1>Act as a single point of contact for our customers for their milestones/scrum tasks.

2>Understand and propose relevant solutions/improvements for the customer engagement.

3>Actively participate in the discussions and meetings to comprehend and understand your scope of work and deliver as per the estimates/commitments.

4>Proactively reach out to others when you need assistance.

5>Manage the project and vendor team members in understanding their estimates, monitoring their quality of work and ensuring as a team you meet the project deadlines.

6>Actively guide the team members and support as needed.

7>Actively staff the team, anticipate capacity needs and plan and work across cross functional teams of the organization.

Mandatory/Primary Skills Someone with an industry experience of about 10+ yrs. Should be able to prepare their own presentations and other materials required and work independently within the context of support that the organization can provide. Should be able to articulate and communicate well in customer calls and shows the passion to sell. Should be able to understand the entire gamut of product development life cycle and the technologies related to it. Chimera offers both extended delivery center setup services and outsource product development services and hence the candidate should possess knowledge in these. Desirable Skills/Industries/Domain Preferred Sales knowledge of Outsourced product development, IT Offshore services, Extended delivery centers, application development and management , Digital services, Analytics, Devops and QA.
