Associate Director

Develops, implements, and oversees the coordination and integration of research initiatives for the College. Ensures the quality of all applications and progress reports submitted to granting agencies. Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversees and tracks faculty and student proposal submissions; may grant exceptions to limiting submission processing or to re-prioritize proposal submissions. Secures alignment between research activities, college, and university objectives.

Evaluation and Communication: Evaluates productivity and success and reports quarterly to the Sr Assoc Dean of Research Provides major procedural changes to supervisor to accept new practices, concepts, or approaches effecting outcomes. Acts as the delegate for the Sr Assoc Dean as directed. Collaborates with administrators and colleagues at the University Research Office, Graduate School, IRB Boards, and within USF Health. Collaborates in the development and maintenance of relationships with research and grant agencies.
