Hiring for a Government client in Sharjah.
- Booking of daily transactions (invoicing, payable & journal entries and maintenance of journal records.)
- Provides finance status information by preparing special reports, completing social projects.
- Correct errors by posting and adjustment of journal entries.
- Secure financial information by completing database backups, keeping information confidential.
- Maintains accounting controls by following policies and procedures, complying with federal state and local finance legal requirements.
- Checking Fixed Assets and its amortizations, Prepayments, payroll, and all provisions made.
- Organizing and supporting the auditors to conduct annual audits.
- Matching and Reconciling project revenues with contracts.
- Supplier relations and reconciliation.
Coordinate with external auditors to complete Interim and Annual Financial Statements.
- Booking and monthly reconciliation of Taxes (VAT, Withholding Taxes, etc.)
- Knowledge on Provisions relating to implementation of VAT in Service companies on complex situations.
And other ad hoc jobs as required by your line manager from time to time.
Requirements
- Microsoft Office Literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Keen to details.
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have ERP experience.
- Must have experience in preparation of MIS reports.
- Must have Profit and Loss management experience.
- Must have EBITDA knowledge.
- Qualifications: (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus but not preferred.
- Bachelors Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, as a minimum requirement.
- Minimum 5 years experience required.
