- Act as Technical Authority for the company's Mechanical Engineering activities relating to mechanical packages and Piping during the project and running operation stages to support the production and ensure that the works are completed in compliance with the ADNOC engineering standard, contract requirements and the reference specifications, design codes, and standards. The primary role of the job is to execute the Mechanical engineering works in design/construction /installation aspects. To support field development and operation continuity, perform various activities, including basic engineering or Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), procurement package and strategy, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
- Develop in-house engineering activities for any requested modifications in the operating pants.
- To engineer and ensure all mechanical systems for the projects assigned will be fully functional as intended, meet project requirements, be cost-effective and meet planned schedules.
- Conduct technical evaluation and follow-up on the execution of the engineering project in Al Yasat Petroleum within agreed technical and quality standards to achieve the company's strategic objectives.
- Monitor and control the engineering performance concerning optimum process design, energy conservation, optimum chemical utilization, and product specification to achieve the best cost-effective results. Recommend corrective actions and modifications required to deal with process abnormalities, de-bottlenecking and optimization of operating conditions and processes.
- Conduct analysis and troubleshooting, assist projects and operations personnel in diagnosing process problems, and prepare technical specifications as necessary.
