The purpose of this position is to lead the daily activities of the NASCAR facilities located in Charlotte, North Carolina by providing the support and maintenance activities required to meet client requirements and operate up to NEP
What you will do:
- Serve as technical expert in supporting the core system and infrastructure for the home side of a large REMI
- Support, maintain & troubleshoot technical workflows in the NASCAR facility in Charlotte,
- Work with the Engineering Management Team to plan, coordinate, and assist with other engineering
- Work with fellow Engineers in the repair and maintenance of mobile units and the NASCAR facility
- Ensure the smooth workflow of the maintenance group as it relates to the needs of any mobile unit and the NASCAR facility
- Complete technical reports for each event to ensure equipment needs/issues are met and
- Coordinate equipment needs by working closely with Mobile Unit Coordinators and Field Shop
- Maintain and file the proper expense reports for every event or other designated
- Assist with providing technical support for new builds and system upgrades, in cooperation with the Engineering and Systems Integration
Requirements
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Charlotte, North
- Technical or field or Engineering preferred, however various combinations of education and experience will be
- 5+ years of experience working in television production technology with progressive managerial
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology, equipment, facilities, and production for major commercial and cable television
- Supervisory experience required; including project coordination, sales support, and other related
- Ability to interface with clients and provide a high level of service and
- Must be willing and able to travel to NEP s events as
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in high-pressure
