Job Description

- Collaborate with business owner and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business owner
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Create user personas, user journeys and site maps
- Create wireframes and prototypes using specialist tools such as Sketch, InVision, Flinto and Axure, as well as the Adobe product suite
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Attend meetings to discuss and review progress on the project
- Run workshops for user and internal stakeholders
- conduct remote and on-site usability testing with real users to ensure the end-product design provides users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and engagement
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Helping build, define, and innovate a visual identity system—managing brand consistency across all touch-points in the customer journey through helping craft design specifications, standards, style guides, toolkits, and processes.
- Stay up to date with all of the industry’s trends and best practices
