Do you have prior experience in Business Development for a Bank industry? Are you interested in operations, supervising, motivating, coaching and training shift supervisors and new employees?

The role will develop an effective branch sales team to consistently deliver superior customer service; manages fee income, cost control and overall profitability of branch offices.



Requirements

  • Builds and maintains customer relationships, identifying business opportunities and promoting Bank s products and services.

  • Ensures consistency of customer service and product delivery within the sales team.

  • Identifies cross-selling opportunities through proper customer profiling.

  • Provides guidance and leadership to promote an exceptional sales and service culture through consistent coaching and training; works to develop a knowledgeable and effective sales team.

  • Engages with colleagues and other departments for further develop customer relationships.

  • Monitors individual sales performance versus objectives on a regular basis, and provides coaching to branch staff.

  • Actively searches and participates in community activities in a manner which reflects favorably upon the Bank.

  • Oversees completion and submission of required reports.

  • Oversees the daily operations, sales efforts, and service quality levels of the branch offices to ensure success.

  • Actively corrects any and all compliance deficiencies as identified through internal and external audits or examinations in a timely manner.

  • Conducts new and high risk account site visits and performs monthly operational self-assessments.

  • Maintains knowledge of branch security and safety policies; ensures adherence to established policies and procedures; works closely with Bank Security Officer to maintain an update plan for the branch; ensures proper training of branch staff.

  • Participates in the development of new promotional ideas for the Bank s market area.

  • Participates in direct customer service when this participation serves to increase the opportunities to retain or enhance customer relationships.

  • Provides assistance to customers with specific inquiries or service problems.

  • Prepares and maintains accurate records of all customer service calls made and meetings held with present and prospective customers.

  • Effectively uncovers and resolves customers inquires and/or issues.

  • Jointly establishes individual performance objectives with the Branch Operations Managers.

  • Assists in the selection of new personnel as appropriate; assists with provisions for the proper orientation and training of new personnel.

  • Informs branch staff of pertinent policies and procedures affecting the department and/or their jobs.



Qualifications:

  • A B.S. or B.A. degree in Business, or a related field, normally required; specialized retail banking education and training.

  • A minimum of seven (7) years related experience normally required.

  • Clearly communicates in English and Spanish is helpful;

  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;

  • Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills;

  • Thorough knowledge of banking operations, policies, and procedures;

  • Thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all retail bank products and services;

  • Thorough knowledge of current banking regulations;

  • Demonstrated management and supervisory skills;

  • Moderate PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
