Establish and maintain an effective regional service line organizational structure and skill base to meet the needs of the Rail service line grouping in the short and longer term.
Provide support to the Service Line in developing region-based business plans for the entire grouping of business sub-services.
Collaborate closely with peers within the region to create and develop synergies across business and service lines.
Actively participate in tender preparations, acting as a bid manager or ensuring such resources are available for successful tender preparation.
Drive the recruitment and retention strategy for the Rail division.
Work collaboratively with HR, Tender Unit, and country managers to manage operational planning, staff utilization, talent acquisition, mobility, and retention.
Ensure that projects and programs meet client expectations, are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality.
Provide support to project leadership in coordinating with various departments and support services involved.
Manage teams to ensure business objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
Liaise with client representatives to ensure client satisfaction and develop action plans when required.
Maintain strategic alignment between the program and the organization.
Develop and implement program management plans to ensure the success of the program.
Manage project budgets, risks, and issues, taking corrective measures through formalized action plans.
Identify improvement areas and implement systems to boost company effectiveness.
Participate in the tendering stage by providing inputs on operational feasibility, risks, and mitigation plans.
