About Our Client:
An established Insurance security firm.
Helping their clients provide secure and safe insurance for their customers.
100% Remote throughout Canada.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP & CTO, oversee the development and maintenance of their Advanced Analytics and Countermeasures platform, which includes an AWS Data Lake,
Lead a technical team of data engineers, data architects, and devops engineers (10 person team)
Lead the design and architectural solution using AWS Foundation services (VPC, Compute, Network and Security)
Manage stakeholder relationships through setting expectations and ensuring the technical work is being done to drive business objectives
Qualifications:
A strong understanding and development of AWS Foundation (VPC, Compute, Network & Security)
The ability to provision infrastructure using Cloud Formation or Terraform
Experience leading a multi-function project team with 10-15 members, including vendors, and engineers.
Hands on experience with AWS Glue
Proven experience of successfully implementing software and cloud development projects
