We are currently hiring Industrial Laundry Aides for an area hospital. These positions will pay $9.00+ DOE per hour. As our Industrial Laundry Aides you will be responsible for sorting dirty laundry into designated bins, moving bins to correct areas, loading machines, drying laundry, and folding laundry per hospital standards. The shifts will be 6am-2:30pm during the week and 4am-12:30pm on the weekends. Must be available to work some weekends. Some driving may be required with this position.
As our Laundry Aide your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Follow all safety guidelines, separating and removal of solid wasted and soiled linens.
- Operate vehicle (when needed) and observe all Federal, State, Local and Hospital ordinances and policies.
- Perform routine maintenance checks of Hospital vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:
- 25 years of age or older for insurance reasons
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements including a background check and drug testing
- Ability to obtain your immunization records
