The Role Job Description Duties and Responsibilities - Participate in generating ideas that help in developing the marketing of the university, in line with the competencies of the main administration. - Help in evaluating the marketing and technical production for the department, proposing new ideas and follow up on their implementation. - Contribute to the performance of the university and prepare a periodic report that includes the performance of the department over specific periods. - Develop proposed and implementable development plans. - Post marketing materials on the university's website. - Revise and update the university's publications. - Oversee the media monitoring and content analysis of the university's news. - Assist in marketing the future plans of the university by producing publications, and organizing marketing campaigns and events. - Develop external partnerships to enhance the University's relations with the International community. - Assist in building a database of the partners and sponsoring institutions, including data of their employees. - Build media relationships with local, regional and international media. - Craft a robust, effective, creative, and forward thinking PR strategy. - Explore various avenues and platforms for our corporate message circulation. - Research, write and distribute press releases & communications to targeted media / regions/ specific audiences. - Work as part of the marketing team to develop content adverts, videos, social media. - Assist with the production of publications, such as in house brochures and newsletters - Proofread and edit online and printed Documents. - Liaise on a daily basis with stakeholders and the media, often via telephone, email and face to face meetings Requirements Minimum Qualification - At least a Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism, mass communication, marketing, or related field Preferred Qualification - Training courses in effective communication skills - Training courses in measuring and achieving customer satisfaction. - Training courses in customer care and service excellence. - Training courses in common mistakes in marketing and sales activities. Specialized competencies - Strong leadership skills, engaging personality, and public speaking - Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills - English language proficiency. - Detail oriented, with strong written and editing skills.
