Job Description

  • Assist project teams in the execution of the contracts as per the company policy and applicable regulations.
  • Support and manage all activities related to the internal administration of the contracts.
  • Monitoring of contractual correspondence including preparation of letters and contractual notices in accordance with requirements of the prime contract
  • Manage and maintain effective and accurate records of all project contractual and commercial documentation;
  • Assist with internal reporting of all commercial and contractual issues;
  • Provide support in dealing with the contractual and commercial issues to Projects mainly on prime contracts but may also extend to subcontracts, if necessary.
  • Engage in meetings and correspondence with the internal stakeholder, the client, subcontractors, and other third party.
  • Support preparation of technical and commercial aspects of change order proposals, inclusive of packaging final submissions to Client
  • Comprehend, analyze and interpret terms and conditions of contract/subcontract and articulates contract/subcontract obligations to other stakeholders;
  • Administer contract close out requirements
  • Interface with key corporate support functions to ensure timely release of performance guarantees including retention
  • Assist in the negotiation of the contract terms and incorporating it to the contract agreement.
  • Review and analyse contracts ensuring its compliance with the company policy and procedures.
  • Assists in the development of procedures, guidelines and standard contract terms.
  • Assist in project monitoring and project benchmarking.
  • Maintain and oversee contract database.
  • Collaborate with the legal team.
  • Participation in financial/contractual audits.
  • Undertakes ad-hoc contractual and commercial assignments and initiatives.
  • Other task as directed by the District Contracts Manager

  • Typically 2-3+ years of relevant EPC experience in the Construction Industry
  • Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
