A key priority within this role is the development of the Automotive vertical. The Strategic Sales Manager will actively identify approach and develop relationships with OEMs Tier 1 Tier 2 and aftermarket automotive customers including distributors and regional hubs operating through the UAE. This includes understanding complex automotive supply chain requirements such as just-in-time flows time-critical airfreight CKD/SKD movements spare parts logistics cross-trade solutions and regional distribution via warehousing and contract logistics.
As an ambassador for Hellmann the Strategic Sales Manager must conduct all activities in line with Hellmanns values compliance standards and ethical guidelines while respecting the diverse cultures and business practices within the UAE and wider Middle East region. Relationship building trust and a consultative sales approach are essential to success.
Furthermore the role includes maintaining accurate CRM data managing a healthy sales pipeline supporting RFQs and tenders and ensuring smooth handover to operations after award. Continuous market intelligence gathering especially within the automotive industry is expected to help strengthen Hellmanns positioning and long-term vertical strategy.
- Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships within the Hellmann Customer portfolio with a strong focus on acquiring and expanding business with multinational corporations (MNCs).
- Contact existing and new prospective customers within the UAE either through face-to-face meetings networking or telephone calls with focus on new prospective customers in the Automotive vertical
- Generate and/or respond to requests for information (RFI) and requests for quotation (RFQ).
- Successfully convert opportunities (RFQs / tenders etc.) into sales revenue for the company.
- Follow company reporting formats and targets including contact reports sales forecasts and market / competitor information.
- Protection of Company liability prior to commitment to sale.
- Generate and communicate sales leads throughout the Hellmann network.
- Conduct all processes in accordance with the Quality Management System.
- Notify Sales Manager of any Operational Red Flags spotted by the Sales Executive.
- Maintain customer relationships by meeting existing customers on a regular basis as per Company requirements.
- Fulfill sales targets set by the Sales Manager/ Commercial Director.
- Fulfill any and all other tasks as deemed fit by Management.
