VARA Compliance Manager

Job Description:

As the VARA Compliance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring our company complies with all applicable laws regulations and industry standards. You will work closely with our legal and finance teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote compliance and mitigate risk. Your role will be crucial in maintaining our companys reputation and protecting our clients data and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all relevant laws regulations and industry standards related to our business operations.

- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.

- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.

- Train employees on compliance policies and procedures and ensure their understanding and adherence.

- Monitor and report on changes in laws and regulations and make necessary updates to company policies.

- Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies and ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests.

- Conduct investigations into any reported compliance violations and implement appropriate disciplinary actions.

- Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for improvements to our compliance program.

- Generate reports and presentations to communicate compliance initiatives and progress to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role preferably in the software or technology industry.

- Strong understanding of relevant laws regulations and industry standards.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
