Role Purpose

This role is part of Carriers Emiratisation program and is designed for UAE Nationals. The Application Engineer provides technical expertise system design support and product application guidance for HVAC solutions particularly in RLC and VRF product lines.

The role acts as a key link between sales engineering teams consultants contractors and customers to ensure optimized HVAC system selection design compliance and delivery of energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical selection and sizing of HVAC equipment (DX systems AHUs FCUs VRF systems etc.)
• Review project specifications drawings and BOQs for compliance with client and industry standards
• Prepare technical submittals proposals and compliance documentation
• Support sales teams with pre-sales engineering and solution design
• Coordinate with consultants contractors and clients to resolve technical queries
• Conduct heat load calculations and HVAC system design using industry software
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and energy efficiency standards
• Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives
• Deliver technical presentations and product training to clients
• Support installation and commissioning activities when required
• Stay updated with HVAC technologies and regulatory developments

Minimum Requirements

• UAE National (Emiratisation requirement)
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 12 years of experience in HVAC design application engineering or technical sales (internships included where applicable)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and engineering principles

• Less than 3 years of relevant experience preferred
