Job Summary
Apt Resources is excited to expand its search for a talented Floor Manager to join the team at our esteemed lifestyle restaurants. As a Floor Manager you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring that guests receive an exceptional dining experience in a vibrant and dynamic environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who possesses strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the front-of-house operations and manage staff to deliver high-quality service to guests.
- Ensure that all restaurant policies and procedures are adhered to by the team promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee the quality of food and beverages served ensuring consistent presentation and adherence to standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Assist in scheduling staff managing labor costs and maintaining inventory for the restaurant.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions for staff to enhance service quality and product knowledge.
- Monitor cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations in the restaurant.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Floor Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry preferably in lifestyle or upscale restaurants.
- Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Strong communication abilities with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficient in managing restaurant operations including labor management and inventory control.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
