Job Specific Knowledge:
- Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment.
- Extensive knowledge of ADNOC VIP / VAP Assurance processes API Standards (API-520 API-521 API-14C API-14E) and statutory and regulatory requirements and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to process design for offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Experience in various phases of project life cycle with particular skills in Feasibility and Conceptual Engineering field development and adequacy studies.
- Experience in processing of highly sour production fluids with extensive offshore engineering experience.
- Experience of Option Selection Studies and leading debottlenecking and revamp projects. Experience of Field Development Studies.
- Experience with a recognised front end engineering consultancy would be an advantage.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of process simulation packages such as HYSYS PROII Flarenet.
- Experience with dynamic simulation packages will be an advantage.
- Extensive experience in pipeline modeling using OLGA Pipesim pipeline studio Pipephase Pipenet is an advantage.
Education Qualifications Accreditation Training:
- Full-Time Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
Industry Specific Experience:
- Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience within the oil and gas industry offshore projects with last 5 years at least leading a team of process discipline engineers and designers.
- Extensive technical practical and leadership experience in the process discipline in the same or similar industry including
- Experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
Other:
- Good English communication skills (spoken & written).
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals andgroups and make presentations when required.
- Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance.
- Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity.
- Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams and share and transfer knowledge within teams.

Primary Objectives / Responsibilities :
- Builds positive working relationships with external parties such as thecustomer suppliers and contractors.
- Supports proposals by developing the discipline execution strategy estimatingcosts writing proposal content and presenting to customers.
- Will be called upon to lead all or part of the technical proposal.
- Planning of man hour budgets schedules manpower loadings and staffingrequirements by skill and experience to satisfy project requirements anddirection given by the Discipline Manager.
- Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences.
- Mentors/trains and supports the delivery of training.
- Assists in the employee performance review process.
- Facilitates coverage of activities when people leave the team.
- Encourages knowledge of and compliance with requirements and processes.
- Works to resolve inter-discipline vendor and customer issues.
- Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all health safetyenvironmental and security requirements
- Participate in project execution strategy and planning.
- Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements ensures theteam to meets the expectations and liaises with other disciplines to ensureproject success.
- Encourages innovative solutions technology advances and methods toeffectively deal with working out of sequence.
- Supports management of project change and progressing for the disciplineand works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actionsregarding any issues staffing requirements scope changes progressing orother events that could affect project completion and/or profitability.
- Collaborates with project team in review of project documentation such as:
- Proposals estimates budgets and schedules
- Leads weekly process discipline meetings reviews progress reports andrequired checking procedures.
- Initiate manage and supervise engineering assignments on projects that meetproject requirements on time and within budget.
- Organise and manage all aspects of the workload of a team of processdiscipline engineers and designers within the parameters of a projectschedule.
- Understands and applies the Project Execution Plan (PEP) requirements.
- Make-up and application (including the Engineering Plan).
- Reviews data from multiple sources and prepares engineering studiesanalyses calculations and recommend actions.
- Crafts recommendations and reviews final documentation prior to customerapproval.
- Determines technical issues defines alternate solutions establishes pros/consfor multiple solutions and makes recommendations through official projectdocuments such as technical queries technical deviations etc.
- Establish a list of discipline deliverables. Controls monitors and progressesthese deliverables to an agreed schedule.
- Reviews final documentation incorporating all relevant information andpursues customer approval.
- Ensure all Process engineering work on the projects assigned to him is carriedout within established budgets and schedules.
- Lead the production of detailed designs and drawings specifications datacalculations and reports.
- Focuses team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives.
