Job Summary

What will you do

As a member of the Technical Support Team you will work on projects across the UAE Kuwait Qatar and the wider MEA region to support departmental and project objectives. You will apply training on JCI Engineered Systems use standard Johnson Controls development tools and build strong partnerships with customers throughout the project lifecycle. You will ensure correct equipment selection validate design assumptions and contribute to highquality technical and commercial project development.

How you will do it

  • Lead or support the detailed development of assigned projects.
  • Validate assumptions made during solution design and prepare detailed cost estimates and scopes of work in cooperation with Field Sales.
  • Review project specifications understand system concepts and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Select HVAC equipment (AHUs FCUs CRAC Ecology units Fans Chillers) and apply it effectively according to RFQs.
  • Understand competitive products and position JCI solutions advantageously by developing alternatives and optional offers.
  • Prepare customer-facing documents such as quotations technical submittals presentations and compliance statements.
  • Perform engineering or commercial analyses to quantify cost savings and customer benefits; support benchmarking activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and when required travel internationally to support local teams and customer discussions.
  • Collect data at customer facilities to support solution design and provide post-contract design review support.
  • Assist in presentations to technical buyers.
  • Stay current with relevant engineering standards practices and professional certifications.
  • Engage in professional organizations and pursue relevant licenses (e.g. Professional Engineer).

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering; specialization in AC & Refrigeration is an advantage.
  • Must be a UAE national with a family book.
  • Minimum three years of experience in HVAC application/estimation (equipment selection costing technical submittals).
  • Entry-level function-specific licenses or certifications preferred (e.g. Professional Engineer Energy/Carbon Certifier BREEAM LEED).
  • Effective teamwork and demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Developing business analysis capabilities.

Preferred

  • Demonstrated professional expertise in HVAC systems including AHUs and Chillers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support team success and enable collaboration.
  • Customer focus and results-driven mindset.
