Job Summary
Apt Resources is actively looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to become an integral part of a dynamic team in this pivotal role you will be responsible for managing a wide array of financial transactions meticulously maintaining accurate and comprehensive financial records and ensuring full compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to provide insights on business performance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and financial reviews.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with different departments to improve financial processes and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 35 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks SAP or similar systems.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of construction and landscaping accounting or related industry experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is an advantage.
