Job Overview:
This lovely family are looking for a positive focussed organised warm and proactive Rota Nanny (preferably Norland trained) with a can-do attitude to care for their little boy (November 2023). The family also recently welcomed a baby girl (October 2025) who is already in a good routine and has maternity nurses (on rota) until the end of June 2026. This role is a mix of shared care and sole charge with a hands-on mum and both parents very much involved in their childrens lives. The little boy is curious and inquisitive as well as being sensitive and cautious at times. The parents want to expose him to as many learning opportunities and experiences as they can and would love him to learn as many languages as possible.

Ideal Nanny:

The Rota Nanny will be expected to have a good understanding and experience of working with toddlers and babies under 1.
They should have longevity in previous roles (3 years minimum).
The parents are looking at possibly starting the little boy at nursery in September but would like the nanny to have a strong educator background ideally with Montessori experience.
A strong developmental and education focus is essential.
They would ideally like to have an energetic and active nanny who likes to get outdoors to help to encourage their little boy to be more physical and build his confidence.
A musically talented nanny (e.g. able to play the piano) would also be of great benefit.
This is a fully staffed (homely) household and it is essential that the rota nanny has experience of working in this type of household and that they are a team player with good communication skills.
Knowledge of Dubai and its climate (eg being able to plan activities to do indoors when going outside isnt possible due to the heat) would be advantageous.
The Rota Nanny would need to either already live in Dubai or be prepared to relocate to Dubai.

Responsibilities:

They would continue educational activities at home creating a home-based curriculum encompassing the EYFS and the Montessori philosophy to help prepare the little boy for school (especially if they decide to hold off on going to nursery until later).
The nanny will be responsible for all nursery duties including preparing fresh nutritional meals for the little boy along with being confident with weaning stages for the baby along with ensuring that the childrens areas are kept organised and up to date for their age and stage.
The nanny must also be culturally aware for example when it comes to what to wear and how to behave in the country and generally within a family home.
The working hours will be 2 weeks on / off working 24 hours when on duty.

Perks of the role:

The family will arrange visas as required.
A driver is not required.
Accommodation while on duty will be in the family home and include a bedroom and ensuite bathroom.
There is frequent travel (US India Europe) with this position so a Rota Nanny who enjoys travelling and has experience of travelling with families is essential.
The family have one dog who is very friendly.

**NB The familys preference is to have local/relocated nannies on a 2 weeks on/off schedule. However they are open to discussing an overseas (travel) rota with 1 month on/off for the right candidates.
