Job Summary

The Chief Officer assists the Master in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. The C/O is mainly responsible for deck operations cargo management stability and safety compliance especially during offshore anchor handling and towing operations.

Training & Qualifications

Typical requirements include:

STCW Chief Mate Certificate of Competency
Valid STCW Basic Safety Training
Advanced Fire Fighting Certificate
GMDSS General Operator Certificate (sometimes required)
Experience on offshore support vessels / AHTS vessels
