Our unsecured lending business has plans to significantly grow our credit card and instalment lending business with Emerging and Mass Affluent customers. A key part of this ambition is to drive instalment lending business.

In this role you will be:

• To support oversight of the management of risks and controls associated with the Retail Product business
• To ensure the business adheres to all first second third line requirements as well as ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements new and existing
• To support in product approval submissions and key regulatory reporting requirements
• To develop a strong and collaborative relationship with each
• To provide essential risk and control support in terms of issue management and continuous monitoring plans

To be successful in the role you should meet the following requirements:

• Graduation degree is REQUIRED to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
• Preferably 1 to 2 years of Banking experience within risk /compliance / regulatory
• Knowledge of various WPB lending products
• Excellent communication and Analytical skills
• Strong presentation and paper writing skills.
• High level of energy and enthusiasm.
• Must have the potential for further development personally and professionally.
• Under the New Labour Law only fixed term contracts shall be available to all employees of HSBC UAE (except DIFC and ADGM employees) hence in line with the term of work permit a 4 years contract would be issued.
