Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle accounting process including general ledger AP/AR bank reconciliation and month-end/year-end closing.
Prepare financial statements cash flow projections and monthly management reports.
Track and report on event-specific budgets expenses and profitability.
Ensure accurate invoicing to clients and timely payments to vendors/suppliers.
Handle VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.
Coordinate with event managers and production teams on project costing.
Monitor cash flow forecast expenditures and recommend financial actions.
Liaise with external auditors banks and regulatory authorities.
Oversee junior accounting staff and provide guidance where necessary.
Implement and improve internal financial controls and systems.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA ACCA or CMA is a plus).
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience preferably in the Trading industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles UAE VAT laws and IFRS.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Tally QuickBooks Zoho Books or SAP).
Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
