Job Summary
The General Accountant is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Finance Department ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. The role involves financial reporting budget preparation audit coordination and maintaining internal financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with statutory regulations.
- Conduct spot-checks on cash floats and stock counts.
- Support audits and tax filing processes.
- Assist in budget and financial forecasting.
- Supervise revenue audits accounts payable payroll processing and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to finance staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in financial management
Qualifications :
- Degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
- 35 years in finance within a luxury hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting audits budgeting and compliance.
- Attention to detail problem-solving leadership and proficiency in accounting software
