Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in planning executing and delivering MEP-related construction activities.
- Supervise on-site MEP installations including HVAC plumbing drainage fire fighting and electrical systems.
- Coordinate with consultants contractors and other engineering disciplines to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Review MEP drawings shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with project specifications and local regulations.
- Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor and track project progress report issues or delays and propose corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and participate in risk assessments and toolbox talks.
- Participate in site inspections testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Maintain proper documentation including daily site reports material logs and correspondence with stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of overall experience in MEP construction with at least 5 years in the UAE/GCC.
- Solid understanding of MEP systems installation and coordination in commercial residential and infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with local authority requirements (DEWA ADDC SEWA Civil Defense etc.)
- Proficient in AutoCAD MS Office and project tracking tools.
- Strong problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be currently residing in the UAE.
