Job Summary
- Perform complex electrical engineering tasks including system design calculations and testing with minimal supervision.
- Lead BIM modeling and digital delivery initiatives utilizing advanced tools like Revit Revizto and ACC for system optimization and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Manage projects according to agreed-upon budgets and schedules ensuring design brief compliance completeness and accuracy.
- Drive innovation through computational engineering advanced simulations and adoption of programming languages for design automation and data analysis.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers fostering their professional development.
- Identify and resolve technical discrepancies proposing solutions using modified standard procedures or developing new methods as needed.
- Develop and implement electrical system specifications standards and design criteria for large-scale projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building components.
- Conduct energy modeling and analysis to optimize building performance and achieve sustainability goals.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed cost estimates project proposals and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes standards and regulations in electrical system designs.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and technical solutions effectively.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends incorporating innovative solutions into project designs.
- Contribute to the development of company-wide best practices and standard operating procedures for electrical engineering.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve field issues and ensure proper implementation of electrical designs.
