Job Summary
Reporting To- Process Department Manager
- Act as Process team lead (Lead Process Engineer) for Feasibility and Concept study / Pre-FEED / FEED / Detailed Engineering for the assigned projects.
- Lead a team of Process Engineers
- Ensure all Process engineering deliverables are prepared and issued in adherence with project schedule tender requirements fit for purpose and quality and complete the project within the budgeted hours.
- Prepare/Review of process simulations.
- Actively participate in workshops such as Design Review HAZID HAZOP SIL PHA Constructability Reviews and provide close out to process related actions.
- Ensure the Designers are familiarized with the scope of the project in order to prepare all drawings and detail in full compliance with the project requirements.
- Manages internal interfaces with Project Managers and Project
- Engineering Managers for the assigned projects.
- Provide technical guidance job training to discipline engineers / junior engineers to ensure schedule adherence and quality of engineering documents.
Qualifications :
- Strong technical knowledge in the relevant discipline.
- Strong design and analytical skills with problem solving ability.
- Good verbal and written communication report writing and presentation skills.
- Hands-On experience in process simulation tools (HYSYS UNISIM
- PROMAX) Hydraulic Simulations (Pipenet Korf OLGA) Familiar with Aveva IED Tools Smart Plant (PID)
- Familiar with International codes and standards Company standards.
Experienced Technical
Minimum of 15-18 years of professional experience in Process Engineering and Design of Oil & Gas facilities ( On-shore / Off-shore).
Experience in feasibility studies conceptual design pre-FEED FEED and Detailed Design as a Lead Engineer.
Education
Academic Education to BS or equivalent level minimum in Chemical
Engineering from accredited University. Postgraduate degree will be an
advantage.
