Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient General Technician (Painter) to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our maintenance and renovation crew you will be responsible for preparing and painting various surfaces in residential and commercial properties.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning sanding and applying primer
- Mix and match paint colors to meet project specifications
- Apply paint using brushes rollers and spray equipment
- Perform basic carpentry and drywall repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members on larger projects
- Estimate time and materials needed for each job
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
Qualifications :
- 2-3 years of professional painting experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in various painting techniques including brush roller and spray painting
- Strong color mixing and matching skills
- Experience with surface preparation and basic carpentry/drywall repair
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of protective equipment
- Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to stand climb and lift heavy objects for extended periods
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel to various job sites
- Vocational training in painting is preferred
- Basic understanding of construction and renovation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills in English
