Job Summary

Solid understanding of:

Data Centre System Hosting Data Centre and IT Room Standards Vendor co-ordination.

TCP/IP ARP DHCP DNS

VLANs Trunking STP/RSTP/MST

OSPF BGP EIGRP

NAT ACLs QoS

Experience with Wi-Fi technologies: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax

Wireless controllers and access points

RF fundamentals site surveys and troubleshooting interference

Familiarity with enterprise network vendors such as Cisco Aruba Alcatel Fortinet or equivalent.

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (SNMP NetFlow Wireshark SolarWinds etc.).

Basic understanding of network security concepts (firewalls NAC VPN).
