Job description
The QHSE Engineer is responsible for developing implementing and maintaining systems that uphold product quality ensure workplace safety and meet environmental compliance standards. The role also focuses heavily on process optimization data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency reduce costs and enhance overall performance across the company.
Develop maintain and enforce QHSE management systems in compliance with ISO standards and applicable regulations.
Conduct data-driven analysis of quality safety and operational metrics to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Design and implement process optimization initiatives using data analytics and industrial engineering tools.
Analyze operational workflows to streamline processes reduce waste and improve utilization of equipment and manpower.
Implement lean methodologies such as 5S Kaizen Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping to eliminate non-value-added activities.
Support production and maintenance teams in reducing rework minimizing downtime and improving first-time quality.
Analyze customer order trends to improve demand forecasting and support real-time planning and scheduling.
Optimize customer order management by aligning production capacity resource availability and delivery requirements.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to QHSE productivity and operational performance.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for non-conformities safety incidents and recurring production issues.
Lead or participate in internal audits and external assessments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Train employees on QHSE procedures best practices and improvement methodologies.
Support cross-functional teams in driving a culture of safety accountability and excellence.
Other tasks as required.
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 24 years of experience in QHSE operations or process improvement roles preferably in the manufacturing or construction materials industry. (Fresh graduates with internship experience can apply)
Strong knowledge of QHSE systems ISO standards ( 45001) and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in lean tools and methodologies: Six Sigma Value Stream Mapping 5S Kaizen RCA etc.
Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g. Excel Power BI ERP systems).
Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
This role will be for both Abu Dhabi & Dubai.
