Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Engineer specialising in luxury boats and yachts to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conceptualisation design and technical development of high-end marine interiors working closely with project managers contractors and production teams to deliver exceptional bespoke interiors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop luxury yacht and boat interior concepts from initial brief through to final execution
- Produce detailed interior layouts drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and 3ds Max
- Create high-quality 3D visualisations and renderings to present design concepts to clients
- Select and specify materials finishes furniture lighting and fixtures suitable for marine environments
- Ensure designs comply with marine regulations safety standards and client requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams suppliers and contractors to ensure design feasibility and accuracy
- Review technical drawings and assist with problem-solving during fabrication and installation
- Participate in client meetings design presentations and project reviews as required
- Manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Interior Design Design Engineering Marine Design or a related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in the UAE or GCC within the marine yacht and luxury interior sector
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and 3ds Max
- Experience designing high-end or luxury interiors (marine experience strongly preferred)
- Good understanding of materials and finishes suitable for marine environments
- Strong attention to detail with excellent design and technical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Language & Regional Requirements
- Arabic language skills are an advantage but not essential.
- Good level of English is Essential.
