Job Title: Dental Assistant
Location: Abu Dhabi
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental examinations and procedures (chair-side assistance).
- Prepare treatment rooms instruments and materials before and after procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (if licensed and authorized).
- Mix dental materials (cements fillings impression materials) as required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow when required.
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Ensure compliance with DOH regulations and clinic policies.
- Maintain inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
- Follow health safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors of Nursing or Diploma or Certificate in Dental Assisting.
- Valid DHA / DOH License or Eligibility (as applicable).
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
- Knowledge of dental instruments procedures and sterilization techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
