Job Summary
Responsible for service delivery of the baggage handling PLB Bridge Mounted Equipment (BME) Fixed Ground Power Units (FGPU) and Fixed Preconditioned Air Units (FPCA) that services being provided meet or exceed all regulatory requirements industry standards and best practices and stakeholders expectations in line with corporate policy and within the given budgets. Accountable for safe secure and smooth running of the baggage handling PLB BME FGPU and FPCA operations from customer experience OTP and equipment systems & facilities availability perspectives. A champion for team work provide leadership guidance and support to all relevant stakeholders in the baggage handling and PLB/BME/FGPU/FPCA processes.
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in logistics business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in airport operations or aviation management is an advantage.
Experience:
- 35 years of experience in baggage handling operations logistics or airport operations.
- At least 12 years of leadership or management experience in a similar environment such as an airport airline or logistics hub.
- Familiarity with baggage handling systems (BHS) and automated luggage sorting systems.
