Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Install troubleshoot and repair electrical systems wiring and fixtures in buildings.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults and perform necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with other construction professionals such as engineers and contractors.
- Test electrical systems using tools like multimeters circuit testers and oscilloscopes.
- Replace and upgrade outdated or defective electrical components.
- Maintain records of maintenance repairs and installations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in a building or construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in different environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in highrise buildings or commercial projects.
- Certification in electrical safety or specialized training.
- Knowledge of energyefficient electrical systems.
