Job Summary

Job Purpose:

Lead fixed asset management across all company projects and locations. Establish robust policies systems and controls to ensure accurate asset tracking optimize utilization and support efficient purchase deployment and disposal. Drive governance and operational efficiency through data-driven insights and cross-departmental coordination. Enable strategic decision-making by providing timely transparent asset visibility and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Asset Management Leadership

  • Lead fixed asset tracking and control across projects central stores and departments.
  • Oversee timely GRN booking and asset registration in the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Ensure proper tagging and updates upon asset receipt and deployment.

2. Systems Policies & Controls

  • Develop implement and enforce policies procedures and control frameworks for asset lifecycle management.
  • Implement and optimize tools like AMS BI AI RFID and digital tracking for better visibility and control.

3. Asset Utilization & Optimization

  • Monitor asset usage to identify underutilization and recommend redeployment or disposal.
  • Collaborate with procurement and project teams to align purchase planning with utilization.
  • Monitor rental listings and monthly billing activities for scaffolding formwork plant and machinery assets.

4. Coordination & Governance

  • Coordinate with P&M Admin IT and Stores to ensure policy compliance and accountability.
  • Plan and execute asset counts audits and discrepancy investigations promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and align records with finance and operations.
  • Conduct training for asset custodians to ensure compliance and ownership.
  • Lead the corporate asset tracking team.

5. Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare and present regular accurate reports and dashboards for senior management reflecting asset status utilization and risks.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and cost optimization.
