The Nursing Supervisor for Nephrology and Dialysis Services will oversee the day-to-day operations of the dialysis and nephrology units ensuring the delivery of safe high-quality patient care. This role involves supervising nursing staff coordinating with nephrologists and multidisciplinary teams optimizing workflows and ensuring full compliance with clinical regulatory and safety standards. The successful candidate will champion continuous improvement teamwork and a strong patient-first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the Dialysis and Nephrology units to ensure safe high-quality patient care.
Supervise coach and evaluate nursing staff ensuring competency in all dialysis procedures.
Coordinate closely with nephrologists and multidisciplinary teams for smooth patient management.
Ensure compliance with infection control safety protocols and regulatory standards (JCI and local authorities).
Monitor quality indicators and lead improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes.
Manage staffing schedules resource allocation and equipment availability.
Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems and support data-driven decision-making.
Assist with budgeting cost control and departmental administrative tasks.
Support training competency assessments and ongoing development of nursing staff.
Requirements
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent healthcare discipline.
710 years of clinical experience in nephrology and dialysis care.
35 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a renal or dialysis setting.
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS and ACLS certifications.
Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with EHR systems and data-driven performance management.

Skills & Competencies
Deep knowledge of dialysis modalities vascular access management and nephrology clinical protocols.
Strong understanding of infection control and patient safety standards.
Excellent ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with regulatory standards (JCI DHA/DOH/MOHAP).
Ability to handle high-pressure environments and make sound clinical decisions.
