Safety, Health & Environment Specialist IV

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Health & Environment Specialist IV to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this senior-level position you will play a crucial role in developing implementing and overseeing comprehensive safety health and environmental management programs across our organization.

• Develop implement and maintain SHE policies procedures and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification to proactively address potential safety and environmental concerns
• Lead incident investigations perform root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Design and deliver safety training programs to enhance employee awareness and promote a culture of safety
• Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Analyze SHE data and prepare comprehensive reports for management identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Manage SHE-related projects and initiatives to continuously enhance the organizations safety performance
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate SHE considerations into business operations and decision-making processes
• Stay current with changes in UAE labor laws and international safety standards ensuring the organization remains compliant

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety and Health Environmental Science or a related field
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent international certification
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in safety health and environmental management
• Proven track record in developing and implementing SHE policies and procedures
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations and environmental management systems
• Expertise in risk assessment hazard identification and incident investigation techniques
• Proficiency in data analysis report writing and project management
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in conducting safety audits and inspections
• Knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations related to occupational safety and health
• Familiarity with international safety standards (e.g. ISO 45001 ISO 14001)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills preferred
