The Engineering Coordinator supports the hotels Engineering Department by managing administrative tasks coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring efficient communication between the engineering team other departments and external contractors. This role ensures that all engineering operations run smoothly and that preventive and corrective maintenance activities are executed on time in compliance with hotel standards and UAE regulations.
This position also involves daily reporting to the Director of Engineering and or Chief Engineer on project status inquiries and departmental updates.
Additionally the role requires maintaining and monitoring the Message Box system assisting in departmental planning and improvements and supporting the implementation of company policies and standards. The Engineering Coordinator is expected to attend training sessions carry out routine departmental tasks and take initiative for personal and professional development.
Qualifications :
Minimum 23 years of experience as an Engineering Coordinator or administrative role in Engineering/Facilities Management preferably in a five-star hotel in the UAE.
Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Technical understanding of hotel engineering systems is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office and hotel maintenance systems (HotSOS/FCS or similar).
Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
