Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Laundry Supervisor to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our hospitality operations you will oversee the daily activities of the laundry department ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of laundry attendants ensuring productivity meets required standards
- Manage the processing and distribution of clean linens towels and other items to various hotel outlets
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment including washing machines dryers and folding machines
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for all laundry processes
- Train and mentor laundry staff on proper procedures and techniques
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens placing orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laundry facility
- Collaborate with other departments to meet the hotels linen and uniform needs
- Address and resolve customer concerns related to laundry services
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in laundry operations
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Laundry Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication abilities both verbal and written
- In-depth knowledge of laundry operations equipment and best practices
- Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain processes
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to make quick decisions
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to laundry operations
- Proficiency in using computer systems for inventory and scheduling
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality management are a plus
