We are hiring a Senior Engineer Contracts (Emirati Nationals only) to join a major infrastructure and energy organization in UAE. This is a strategic role for UAE Nationals seeking to advance in engineering contract management and supply chain fields.

The Senior Engineer Contracts is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle within the Sourcing Department under the Supply Chain Division. The role involves drafting reviewing negotiating and executing engineering and commercial contracts ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and organizational standards.
You will work closely with procurement engineering legal finance and project management teams to ensure the smooth cost-effective and compliant delivery of goods services and projects.
Prepare draft review and finalize engineering and commercial contracts (EPC SLAs AMCs supply agreements).
Ensure compliance with UAE government standards legal requirements and company policies.
Manage contract renewals amendments extensions and closure documentation.
Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with suppliers vendors and service providers.
Support pre-award and post-award activities for technical and commercial teams.
Evaluate and manage supplier/contractor performance.
Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in the UAE.
Maintain a centralized contract database and ensure accurate documentation.
Prepare periodic reports on contract status deviations KPIs risks and performance indicators.
Provide insights to improve cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Support knowledge transfer and training for junior staff.
Promote innovation continuous improvement and excellence.
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Civil or similar).
Preferred: Masters degree in Contract Management Supply Chain Business Administration or Commercial Law.
Bachelors degree: 48 years of experience in contract management (preferably EPC).
Masters degree: 24 years of experience in contract management.
Strong knowledge of contract law commercial terms and risk management.
Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
Strong analytical communication and problem-solving abilities.
Understanding of pricing models cost structures and payment terms.
English: Required
Arabic: Preferred (advantage for communication with local stakeholders)
