Job Summary

As a Culinary Associate (Fresher) you will support the kitchen team in preparing cooking and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining hygiene and safety standards. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about food and eager to build a career in hotel kitchens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs in the preparation and cooking of food across various kitchen sections (hot cold bakery butchery etc.).

  • Wash peel chop and cut ingredients as instructed.

  • Ensure proper portioning plating and presentation of dishes.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations utensils and kitchen equipment.

  • Follow food safety HACCP and hotel hygiene standards.

  • Support in receiving storing and rotating food supplies.

  • Assist in buffet setups banquets and special events when required.

  • Work under the guidance of senior chefs to learn culinary skills and hotel kitchen operations.



Requirements

  • Fresh graduate / Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts Hotel Management or related field.

  • Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn new techniques.

  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food handling is an advantage.

  • Good communication teamwork and time management skills.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts weekends and holidays.
