Job Summary: Al Reem Group is seeking a full-time Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing and procurement of goods and services needed for the companys operations. The Procurement Officer will be responsible for identifying cost-effective deals maintaining supplier relationships negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet business needs.
- Source evaluate and select suppliers based on price quality service and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts terms and conditions with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Maintain accurate procurement records contracts and reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate market trends.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and relevant legal and regulatory standards.
- Review supplier performance and address any issues or concerns to improve service quality.
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and forecast material needs to optimize stock availability.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes inventory management and supply chain management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g. Odoo)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Immediate availability preferred
