Job Summary
Our client a leading provider of specialized logistics and transport services to the defense oil & gas and utilities sectors is looking for an experienced Operations Manager (Arabic Speaker) to join their team.
As the second-in-command the Operations Manager will work closely with the business owner to oversee daily operations manage high-profile client relationships and support management reporting and strategic projects including tender management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and supervise daily transport and logistics operations
Build and maintain strong client relationships with a particular focus on defense oil & gas and utilities sectors
Lead operational reporting ensuring visibility on key metrics and service delivery
Support the preparation and execution of tenders and bids
Drive continuous improvement of processes and service standards
Requirements
To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:
- 10 years of operations management experience in logistics specialized transport or industrial services
- Strong understanding of the defense oil & gas and utilities markets in the UAE
- Proven leadership and client management skills
- Arabic and English fluency required
- Must be currently based in the UAE
