As a Laundry Attendant you will be responsible for the efficient handling and movement of all hotel linens guest laundry and colleagues uniforms. As the hotels laundry operations are outsourced the role primarily involves coordinating the collection and delivery of linen to and from the external laundry facility maintaining accurate records and ensuring the smooth operation of the uniform room. The Laundry Attendant ensures all items are handled with care delivered on time and maintained to the hotels quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect count and dispatch soiled linen towels and uniforms to the outsourced laundry service.
Receive inspect and record clean linen deliveries to ensure quantity and quality meet hotel standards.
Distribute clean linen and uniforms to respective departments and maintain proper stock levels in storage areas.
Manage the uniform room operations issue and receive uniforms ensure proper labeling and recordkeeping.
Handle guest laundry and dry-cleaning services including collection tagging tracking and delivery in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of all linen movements guest laundry transactions and uniform inventories.
Report any missing damaged or stained items to the Laundry Supervisor immediately.
Ensure the linen and uniform rooms are kept organized clean and well maintained.
Coordinate with the outsourced laundry provider to resolve discrepancies or quality issues.
Support the housekeeping team during peak operations as required.
Follow all safety hygiene and hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
Previous experience in hotel laundry or housekeeping operations preferred.
Basic knowledge of laundry processes and fabric care.
Good organizational and recordkeeping skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Physically fit and able to lift push or pull heavy linen trolleys.
Reliable punctual and service-oriented.
Flexibility to work shifts weekends and public holidays.
