- Ensuring all storerooms are secure at all time and that all received goods are stored in their correct location.
- To control stock in designed storeroom by means of stock rotation and keeping appropriate par stock levels.
- To initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.
- To reserve a particular material for a specific job when so required in case of emergency or in order to replace outdated material suggests substitutes available in the store.
- Maintaining storerooms passageways floors walls office areas and dock areas so that the highest degree of sanitation is kept.
- Ensuring that all requisitions are fully completed and checked before being released to the respective departments.
- Ensuring all requisition is properly authorized.
- To check the book balances with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues.
- To prepare and communicate with concern the slow-moving item report expiration date reports and list of eventual shortages of products.
- Make recommendations to the Storekeeper regarding stock movement and also report on obsolete stocks.
- Supporting Storekeeper during the operation or handling in his absence.
Qualifications :
- High School diploma
- Previous experience in same position for at least 1 year.
- Luxury hotel experience is a must
- Passion for excellent service
- Excellent team player and great communication skills
