Job Summary
Purchasing & Sourcing
Identify evaluate and select reliable local and international suppliers for aluminium profiles glass accessories hardware and tools.
Prepare and issue RFQs POs and negotiate terms including pricing delivery schedules and payment terms.
Source alternative suppliers/materials to reduce costs and avoid project delays.
Vendor Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality pricing delivery and service.
Ensure timely deliveries and follow up on pending or delayed orders.
Inventory & Cost Control
Coordinate with the store and project team to track material usage and ensure optimum stock levels.
Monitor procurement budgets and assist in cost-saving initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of purchases pricing invoices and delivery notes.
Documentation & Compliance
Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and UAE regulations.
Maintain proper documentation of all procurement activities for internal and external audits.
Coordinate with finance for timely supplier payments.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 35 years of procurement experience in the aluminium & glass or construction industry in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of aluminium systems glass specifications and fabrication accessories.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) ERP systems (SAP Oracle etc.) and procurement tools.
Excellent negotiation communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
UAE Driving License is an advantage.
