Ensure effective management and adherence to regulatory requirements for region Customs Special Programs

Maintain an inventory of Customs Special Programs usage by business
Lead specific Customs program initiatives and collaborate with business personnel to implement compliant programs
Identify Customs risks areas and develop actionable plans and procedures to mitigate those risks
Own Business Compliance oversight defining Customs Policy Risk and Monitoring Plans
Evaluate internal controls and drive implementation of recommended improvement plans
Support various metrics and monitoring programs related to assigned responsibilities
Maintain a regional list of external and internal audits
Define and communicate business process exceptions priorities requirements and risk parameters
Execute Local Agent Due Diligence and collaborate on Customs Authority and internal audits results and corrective actions
Support the rollout and implementation of customs-related training programs
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college with minimum 8 years experience in customs processes or
In country Professional Customs Certification or Accreditation with minimum 5 years experience in customs processes
Availability for travel to regional business locations with occasional global travel.

Wing to wing expertise across Customs Compliance or Customs Special Programs processes
